I discovered this story in a newspaper search from the 1850's. Who was this
William Dashper who was luckily able to help save the young girl's life?

"The only William Dashper in Torquay at that period of time was William Dashper born 1825 son of John and Mary Sweet. He married Mahala Bailey. So it has to be him."
